Why $149 is the easy part
Take that example quote and a shop answering 200 quote requests a month, with an hour of quoting time costing $35 in wages and overhead:
back every month
66.7 hours of quoting by hand becomes 16.7. That’s more than a full work week, every month, worth about $1,750.
to pay for himself
Otto covers his $149 within about 2 working days of the month: 11.7× his price in time saved.
per quote
Spread over 200 quotes, Otto costs less than a dollar each, against about $8.75 of your time saved on every one.
These are examples, not promises. Put in your own numbers below.

Time spent quoting each month
What that time is worth vs. what Otto costs
Otto saves you 50 hrs a month and pays for himself in about 2 working days: 11.7× his price.
Plain arithmetic on the numbers above: hours = quotes × minutes ÷ 60, value = hours saved × your hourly cost. Your results depend on your business.
Questions
Is there a charge per quote or per user?
No. One price covers your company, however many quotes Otto drafts.
Why $149?
It’s about 4.3 hours of quoting time at $35 an hour. If Otto saves you more quoting time than that each month, he has paid for himself; the calculator above shows where you land.
What happens during the free trial?
You get every feature for 14 days, starting in test mode, so nothing reaches a customer or supplier until you switch it on.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Your quotes and records stay yours.
Do I need QuickBooks?
No. Otto handles quote requests, supplier pricing, quotes and customer POs on his own, and gives you each quote and order acknowledgement as a PDF to enter in whatever accounting or ERP system you use. If you use QuickBooks Online, you can connect it and sent quotes are added as estimates for you.
Does Otto send anything without me?
No. Otto drafts; you approve. Supplier requests and customer quotes go out only when you tap Approve or Send.
